The World Jewish Congress prepared this video in recognition of the importance of the Stolpersteine Memorial to never forget the Holocaust. The brass cobblestones are meant to be ‘stumbled upon’ to point out where the victims of the Holocaust lived before they were deported. They’re known as Stolpersteine, stumbling stones. With some 75,000 plaques spread across Europe, the Stolpersteine represent the largest decentralized Holocaust memorial in the world.
