My sister and I never met our father’s parents, our grandparents, Oskar and Klara Kalter. To personally honor both of them with our father, and his two brothers in front of their home in Leipzig, Germany was a unique feature of the Stolpersteine memorial program that was priceless. This is why I strongly recommend a Stolpersteine dedication for anyone’s family members who were victims of the Holocaust.
