Stolpersteine’s Urban Holocaust Memorials
On February 26, 2015, Stolpersteine were dedicated for Anne Frank and her family in front of their Netherlands home in Amsterdam. The students of the Gretel-Bergmann school in Hamburg, Germany helped organize and sponsor the Stolpersteine dedication.
Helen Epstein, renowned author of “Children of the Holocaust”, had Stolpersteine dedications in Prague, Czechia for her mother, Franci Rabinek Epsteinova, who survived, and her mother’s parents (her grandparents) Emil Rabinek and Josefa Rabinkova, who were both killed at the Maly Trostenets Concentration Camp near Minsk.
